I don’t know if it’s because I decided to wear heels for the first time in months or what, but I got a nasty corn on my right index toe. Hurt’s like a bee-yatch. At first I thought it was just dry skin being a pain (haha no pun intended), but after filing and putting some pain reliever on it I realized what it truly was. Luckily I had some Dr. Scholl’s For Her Corn Remover pads (I’ve had this problem before if I slack in using foot scrub and lotion on my feet) so now my toe is all bandaged up. Luckily it’s pretty much the end of flip-flop season. Hello boots!
Today I am off to my hometown where I’m staying till Saturday. I go for round two of Gardasil tomorrow which is the reason I am going up. Plus I need someone to take me there because I felt two of the side-effects last time so I don’t want to be fainting behind the wheel.
Other goals of my trip include getting some well-needed beauty products at Ulta, another pair of jeans and a belt from Mervyn’s since my current pair keep falling off (don’t get too excited I’ve only lost 2.6 lbs), groceries, and household items from either Wal-Mart, Target, or K-Mart since I have all three close by. Yeah, I miss home.
Anyway, I need to get some laundry done before I leave. Tootles!

Ooo you got the shot? My mom actually recommended that I think about getting it, which surprised me for some reason (I mean, she is an OB nurse but… SEX! STDs! My mother does not speak of these things!) but I’m not sure. Will probably ask my doctor about it at my next visit and see what she thinks.
Yay for hometowns! I miss mine.
Hmm, I’m contemplating getting Gardasil too, actually, only probably not until next year when it’s free (or much cheaper) for women 20+
