I have to say so far totally not impressed with the customer service support with iTunes. As you know, I bought Sex and the City: The Move (extended cut) that came with a digital copy. When I redeemed my digital copy it had me download the theatrical cut instead of the extended cut. I did the whole “Report a Problem” bit in iTunes which kicked me to Apple’s support page to contact someone. I did and the person I’m speaking with doesn’t appear to speak English or understand my situation.
Customer Service (aka “Judy”) says, “Cristina you would be able to get the original cut of the movie for your iPod would not be play the extended cut of the Sex and the City movie for the file would be too big.” Now, honestly I don’t know what she is talking about so I assumed she was trying to tell me I couldn’t have the extended cut because the file is too big? Um then why do you have the extended cut for download in the iTunes Store?
I stood my ground saying stating this weirdness; I also resubmitted my support ticket to possibly get someone else to help me as well. She responded this morning saying I get 3 video credits (yahooey!), and that if I have anymore issues I should take it up with Fox’s Digital Copy Site; too bad my movie is by New Line Cinema, so that doesn’t help me very much. With my credits in tow, I proceeded to download the extended cut. Once my download begins I get some kind of warning message saying my video credit only works on some movies. Needless to say there will be HELL to pay with iTunes if I get charged on my credit card for this download.
Dear Apple, WHY THIS DRAMA?

Hmmm…interesting. I don’t know how iPod works, or iTunes or any of that stuff. I do not use Mac or anything of the Apple brand very often. Though I sure wish I had a Mac lap top. Eesh. Glad that you kind of got it sort out.
This is why I don’t bother getting videos off of iTunes anymore. I’d rather watch stuff on my TV or computer and actually listen to music on my iPod.
I’ve never downloaded anything from iTunes, so I don’t have any experience with what happened to you, but yes, it does sound annoying, and yeah, I think you’d have every right to be pissed if you wound up being charged for it! :/
i don’t know how to use twitter other than to update my miniblog, but i have to say that site is awesome. i’ve been listening to it for a while now ~!
