The Friday Five ~
1. What’s one really cool/useful/nice thing you purchased for yourself this year?
Hehe, the iPhone. I never maxed out a cell phone’s features until I got this phone!

2. What’s one area of your life you really improved this year?
My family relations towards the end of the year. It’s amazing how the passing of one family member can change your relationships with the rest of your family.

3. Who or what was a regular source of encouragement or inspiration to you this year?
My mom and Joshua were constantly there encouraging me and supporting me throughout the year.

4. What’s something nice you did for someone else this year?
I stayed up till 3am baking goodies for my mom and Joshua’s family for Christmas.

5. In what way was 2008 better than 2007?
I lost weight! 2007 I gained weight and 2008 I lost! Yay!

I am so happy to be home! I was very close to hopping on a plane today so I could go to Disneyland with Joshua and his family tomorrow, but I think I made the better decision on staying home. Besides, I’ll probably end up doing Disneyland on my birthday since next year’s promotion is you get free admission on your birthday.

Today was a bit of a crazy day. I left with my grandparents around 11am and got myself home just in time to take Becca to work. Shortly after I went out to Best Buy to deal with a few gift card situations, went to the bank, and then went to Chili’s for some soup and chips! YAYA!! Shortly after I had showered and gotten comfy for the evening, I realized Best Buy screwed up one of my transactions so I had to go back out to get it fixed. Ended up getting iTunes credit and purchasing my soundtrack. Made me happy!

For Christmas Joshua got me a $100 gift certificate to the Bliss Spa in San Francisco. I booked my appointment for Monday so I get to go in and get a 30min massage followed by a super nice manicure! I’m so excited as I’ve never been to a spa before!

Anyhoo, I have some chips and salsa from Chili’s calling my name…
