So this nasty, nasty cold is still plaguing me. The good news is I feel fine except I am doing an insane amount of coughing. And because people make faces when you cough, I am avoiding weight training until this coughing goes away. I felt embarrassed on Monday during my lectures because people kept looking at me like, “Gawd woman take a cough drop and shut-up!” Yet I had three cough drops in my mouth and was still coughing. Plus this guy sitting next to me in Bio was recording his lecture on his iPod and now he got the lecture plus my coughing recorded. Ugh.

Also, both Becca and Joshua caught whatever sickness I have so we’ve pretty much been walking around like zombies because we’re all on a bunch of meds to get rid of this thing. Joshua seems to be doing better, but Becca is dealing with the same stubborn cough I am. The coughing is the worst part of this whole thing. I haven’t coughed this much since I had the flu 4 years ago.

Aside from being sick and fighting said sickness, the only other excitement in my life is that I’ve finally gone Mac. Not 100% as I still have my laptop, but I figure I keep it awhile until I am confident enough to go Mac all the way. For the past few months I’ve been running into the same problems with my laptop that I did with my first one, and rather than having to put up with anymore Windows BS I decided to try Mac. I figured I might as well seeing as all my other gadgets are Apple.

I decided to go with an iMac, mainly because I cannot afford a MacBook (remember I’m still in debt for my car, haha). Plus I’ve been using my laptop so much like a desktop already that I figured it’d make sense. I’m still getting used to Mac’s shortcuts and being without my Windows ones, so it’s quite a transition. One thing I am really mourning the loss of is my software used to ripping DVDs; however I need to spend some more time at iLounge reading up on how to rip movies for Mac. Until then, I’m glad I still have my laptop!

Oooo shiny!!! Congrats on your iMac! There are so many awesome pretty things you can do with your computer now, like Candybar so you can have lovely icons for everything! There are even Wall·E icons!

Ah congrats on getting your iMac!! I’m planning to switch over to a Mac as well, but it’s toooooo userfriendly… I like being able to do a lot of things for myself. Hope it works well for you!

Nice computer! :) Lol would you believe I’m using a identical one in the computer labs at uni right now, although it, much to my dismay, is running on Windows. No clue why!? *Boooo*

That sucks that you’re still sick and coughing. So am I and I know that it is not fun. :( I had to laugh though, at the mental image of you with a mouthful of cough drops like a squirrel!

OoOooOOOo, shiny!! :hah: I would like to get a Mac eventually just so I’m more familiar with it, but that’s probably a long time coming. You must blog updates on how you like it! :D

I hopes you feel better soon, that really sucks about the cough. It’s one thing to just have a fever and be stuffy but a really bad cough makes it sooo much more awful. :( *hugs*
