It seems I haven’t been blogging much lately, and aside from the lack of things to blog about, it mainly has to do with just being busy. Things always seem to pick up around testing time. I can’t believe it’s already considered “mid-terms” at school. I only have two months of school left, thank goodness!

My Mac is supposed to show up today, which is a huge relief because since I ordered almost a week ago my PC has been giving me so many problems that it more than justifies spending money on a Mac. As soon as I get all my documents from my PC to my Mac, I’m calling Dell and having the laptop shipped out for repairs. Once fixed, I’m selling it. I’ve had enough of this nonsense!

I’ve been thinking about running Windows on my Mac via Bootcamp so that way I can still do my DVD ripping and not have to buy Quicken for Mac or Photoshop. Anyone have any experience with running both operating systems?

In between school and the PC problems, I’ve been working on a redesign on my web site. Over the weekend I spent some real quality time with Photoshop trying to perfect (or at least sharpen, hah pun intended) my Pen Tool skills. Awhile back I doodled my site’s mascot, but I got easily frustrated with trying to vectorize it. This time around I was determined to get it right. Here is the finished product…

I’m working on incorporating her into a layout for the site as well as an avatar to represent me all across my numerous social networking sites. So excited!
