On February 7th, 1987 at 6:20pm, I was brought into this world and began my life as a girl. Shocking, huh? For the first 20 years of my life I lived in a red/white house with my mom, dad, and sister in the city of Placerville. I went to preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school like a normal kid. I enjoyed the performing arts and was very active in choir, drama, and band. Later in high school I discovered my love for all things Internet and became absorbed with it. As of today, nothing has changed.

A few weeks after my 20th birthday I moved out of my childhood home and on my own in the Bay Area. Joshua, my boyfriend moved in with me and we’re currently together today. We live in a duplex owned by my grandparents with our two cats, Izzie and Bella. I go to school full time.

Generally I think of myself as a happy person. I go through a lot of rough patches in my life, but when I look at the big picture, I am generally happy with where I am. I try to have a positive outlook on things, but sometimes I feel the need to be pessimistic in order to come back to reality since I do tend to get caught up in my over-the-top, optimistic daydreams. I sometimes can be a bit sarcastic, and people who don’t know me as well sometimes take offense. Because of my past experiences I can get easily offended and hurt, so it may appear I am a bit sensitive.

When around people that I am comfortable with, I can be really silly and outright random, to the point where people who are observing me may think of me as acting immature. But when I am by myself and/or with people I do not know very well, I can be extremely quiet and shy; sadly my shyness gets easily mistaken for being stuck-up. Most of the time I’ll try to show my true self, but it all depends on the environment.

I’ve been blogging since 2002 starting on LiveJournal and eventually making my way towards my very own site. I write this blog to keep an archive of my thoughts and experiences. My blog is my scrapbook of memories open to anyone that wishes to read them. Everyone has a story. This blog is mine.
