Review - Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo

When it comes to oily hair, any woman knows it’s not easy to maintain. We have to shampoo our hair at least once a day, and even after drying we lose our volume within in an hour. We can’t even wake up the next day and throw our hair in a ponytail without it looking gross. I envy my boyfriend being able to wake up, throw some water on his hair, and BOOM he’s ready for the day. And he’s a mechanic!

An old trick to use for the days we just don’t feel like trying is working a little baby powder through the hair. As we all know that can get messy and adding too much makes it look like dandruff-gone-wild. It’s no wonder since baby powder wasn’t created with oily-haired women in mind. That’s where Dry Shampoo comes in.

I recently invested in Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo from Sephora. They say…

This unique formula instantly absorbs impurities and oil on the hair and scalp with a patented formula containing kaolin clay, silica, rice, and cornstarch powders for antistatic and antisebum action as well as the high absorption power of essential oils of peppermint, caraway, and basil to soften hair.

What drew me to this particular one as opposed to the other Dry Shampoos available on Sephora’s web site was the fact this said in two minutes my hair would be ready to go. Not only were they right, but I found my hair was ready to go even sooner. Just a few spritzes in the oiliest spots was all it took. The pressure coming out of this can is a bit much, but it gets the job done. I like using this on my work-out mornings so I don’t look like a complete slob, haha.

It’s $24 for a 3.2oz bottle, but you really get your money’s worth out of it. Less is more with this product.
