Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Another treat I like to make around the holiday season is chocolate dipped-pretzels. What’s great about these is there are sprinkles for almost every holiday so you can have them anytime during the year, whether it’s Valentine’s Day or Christmas!

What You’ll Need

  • Assorted sprinkles
  • 3 bags of assorted pretzels
  • 12 oz. of milk chocolate
  • 12 oz. of white chocolate
  • 2-quart double boiler saucepans
  • 2-3 baking sheets - based on how many pretzels you’re making
  • Wax paper

Open your bags of pretzels and begin sorting out the broken ones (they’re great leftovers to snack on). Take your baking sheets and tape wax paper to cover entire sheet. Fill the bottom saucepan halfway with water and place on stove, low heat. Place the first 12oz. of chocolate chips in the top sauce pan and put on top the bottom saucepan. The steam from the boiling water underneath is what will melt the chocolate and prevent it from getting chunky.

Begin dipping pretzels laying each one of the baking sheet to cool. After you’ve dipped your desired amount of pretzels, top with sprinkles, and set in refrigerator for at least an hour. If you need it to harden in a hurry, place in freezer for 10-15 minutes.
